Parent Evangelization and Formation(Required)

1- Minimal Engagement – The parish offers little to no direct evangelization or formation for parents. The focus is primarily on the children’s catechesis, with no structured outreach or formation for families. Parents are seen as passive participants.

2 – Basic Engagement – The parish provides some communication with parents (emails, bulletin reminders) but does not actively invite them into formation. Sacramental preparation may include required meetings, but there is little emphasis on ongoing parent faith development.

3 – Moderate Engagement – The parish encourages parental involvement in faith formation through occasional workshops, family catechesis sessions, or special events. Some parents participate, but engagement is inconsistent, and evangelization efforts are not fully integrated into parish life.

4 – Active Engagement – The parish intentionally evangelizes and forms parents through ongoing catechesis, small groups, mentorship opportunities, and family-centered initiatives. Parents are actively involved in their child’s formation, and resources are provided to help them live the faith at home.

5 – Missionary Engagement – The parish fully embraces its role in forming parents as primary catechists. A robust family evangelization strategy is in place, including discipleship programs, regular parent formation, community-building events, and encouragement for families to serve in parish ministries. Parents feel supported, empowered, and engaged in both their children’s and their own faith journey.
